News from SIGMA Headquarters

Applications are now open for Sigma research and project grants with 1 April and 1 May deadlines. Eligible nurses across the globe may apply for $2,000–$10,000 USD to advance evidence-based practice and improve health outcomes. Additionally, Sigma offers three scholarship opportunities that are now open for applications. The deadline to apply for a scholarship is 1 April.

It is the Fall cycle for our Iota Sigma Research Award application period. Please review the SON Iota Sigma site to learn more about the Research Award, its purpose, criteria, grant allocation, and instructions.  Please note: Applications are due by November 7th. Iota Sigma is inviting members/students to apply for the Esslinger Award.

This $1500 scholarship is available to members (or new inductees) of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society (Sigma) – Iota Sigma Chapter.
